Mike Hall's autobiography is now available to purchase on Amazon. It is entitled Before Midnight and covers the period up to 1985 when he formed After Midnight after being inspired by Eric Clapton's performance at Live Aid. It covers the early part of Mike's life, growing up in Durham, where he developed a love for music and in particular the guitar. His desire to perform was fired by watching numerous bands in the 60s and 70s including the Beatles, Free, Cream and Eric Clapton. The full 4-piece electric band came together for a special 40th Anniversary Concert at The Glasshouse, Gateshead on Friday 5 December 2025 - 40 years to the day from our first gig.  Hundreds of fans travelled from across the UK to give the band a rousing reception.

Mike Hall & Adam Howells will perform two Classic Clapton unplugged shows in Scotland in 2026. Firstly at The Green Hotel, Kinross on Saturday 25 April and Harbour Arts Centre, Irvine on Saturday 19 September. For more information please go to On Tour section. We undertook a World Tour in 2016 which included 3 concerts in India. We also performed in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 18 March 2017.  We had an amazing time and the Indian people were so welcoming. On the final night of the tour we performed in front of 3500 fans in Mumbai.
